Professional Learning & Collaborative Offerings

Where professional learning and research meet: keynotes, workshops, coaching, and longer-term partnerships with teachers, schools, and districts, alongside collaborative inquiry groups, co-developed frameworks, and formal research collaborations. Every one is shaped around your context and goals rather than delivered from a fixed program, whether the focus is Building Thinking Classrooms®, numeracy and supporting the development of numerate learners, mathematical identity and belonging, or task design.

Every session is immersive: you experience the ideas as a learner first, then reflect on them as a teacher, in a space built to feel safe enough to take a real risk in front of colleagues. That's the same standard whether we're spending ninety minutes together or a full school year.

Keynotes & Presentations

A focused introduction to an idea — Building Thinking Classrooms®, numeracy, or belonging in mathematics — with live examples. Sixty to ninety minutes, in person or virtual, suited to conferences, staff meetings, or district-wide events.

A classroom or conference room with tables and chairs, some people standing near whiteboards along the back wall, and a large projection screen displaying a presentation slide.

Workshops & Active Learning Sessions

Hands-on and immersive, from a single introductory session to a multi-day series spaced across a term. Participants experience the practices as learners before reflecting on them as teachers.

Coaching, Co-Teaching & Residencies

Sustained, in-context support: co-planning and teaching a lesson together, embedded residency visits across a school year, or ongoing coaching for individuals and teams — the work that carries a workshop into lasting practice.

Let’s talk

I'd love to hear about your context and what you're hoping to explore! Reach out, and I'll send along more on how sessions can be structured, sequenced, or bundled to fit your goals. This is also a place to check in after a session or to start a conversation about a research collaboration.
